ISIS Destroys Tomb of Jonah, Seizes Nukes, and Takes Key City Abandoned by US

Iraqi officials have informed the United Nations in an appeal for help that ISIS seized 88 pounds of nuclear materials that were kept at Mosul University reports Reuters. “Iraq’s U.N. Ambassador warned the U.N., “These nuclear materials, despite the limited amounts mentioned, can enable terrorist groups, with the availability of the required expertise, to use it to separate or in combination with other materials in its terrorist attacks.” The Daily Beast reports on how the United States left a key city on the Iraq-Syria border to be overrun by ISIS despite pleas for help.
