Republican Gov. Rick Perry said Texas was “the right place” for President Barack Obama to visit to tout economic growth, the UPI reports. Texas ranks 18th in unemployment, while President Obama’s home state of Illinois ranks dead last, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
