President Obama has ordered the nighttime removal of dozens of prisoners from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba over the past two months reports the New York Times. His goal: reduce the population of prisoners to between 60 to 80 so that it is no longer efficient to continue operating the prison. As of this week, just 127 prisoners remain (reduced from 680 in 2003) and more removals are scheduled.
