Sen. Rand Paul told a crowd in South Carolina last week that health insurance cancellations are not the direct result of the actual legislation creating ObamaCare, but instead an unnecessary regulation written by the Obama administration months after the law passed, the DailyMail reports. Paul notes that Senate Republicans tried to block the rule in 2010, but failed – on a party-line vote with every Democrat voting in favor of President Obama’s rule.
