Tuesday’s terrorist attacks on the Brussels airport and subway system have spurred governments in Europe and beyond to tighten security at airports, on subways, at the borders and on city streets. In New York City the NYPD announced increased security in trains, bridges, tunnels, subway stations and landmarks, reports NBC. GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump said he would have closed America’s borders “until we figure out what’s going on,” according to The Hill.
