The Supreme Court refused yesterday to take up appeals to lower court decisions which struck gay marriage bans in five states as unconstitutional. The Washington Post reports, and asks whether the fight is effectively over. Sen. Ted Cruz blasted the Court for “abdicating its duty to uphold the Constitution.”
