Nurse Receives Transfusion from Dr. Kent Brantly, CDC Rethinks Ebola Protocol, Ebola Hospital for Every State

The Texas nurse who contracted Ebola while caring for another patient received a blood transfusion from Dr. Kent Brantly, the American doctor who previously contracted the disease in Africa and received the first treatment of Z-Mapp, reports the Daily Mail. With the new infection, the CDC is rethinking its methods for controlling the disease, and have started an effort to identify a dedicated Ebola hospital in every state to care for patients, reports Bloomberg.
