Fri Jun 12, 2015 AT 10:35 AM EDT

Roll Call reported the House, on Thursday, voted 217-212 on the rule that sets the table for a bill to give President Obama latitude to negotiate a 12-nation Pacific trade deal. All but eight Democrats voted “no.” Meanwhile, 34 conservative Republicans who don’t think Congress should extend Obama more authority to do anything, also opposed. Earlier, Breitbart reported, Sen. Sessions issued a final “critical alert” to his colleagues that Obamatrade is politically toxic, like Obamacare and amnesty.
