The federal government has nine days of funding remaining and whether there’s a shutdown depends on how Speaker John Boehner’s plan to avert one is received by conservatives in the Republican caucus this morning, reports Politico. Boehner’s plan: pass a spending bill and a symbolic rebuke to President Obama on immigration that the Senate will not take up.
