Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in Baghdad Monday to press political reforms on the embattled Iraqi government as ISIS forces continued their march through the country, reports Newsmax. The NY Times and Washington Post report that western officials and military experts reviewing the state of Iraq’s military forces have concluded that they are too weak to regain any ground already lost to ISIS and are on the verge of ‘psychological collapse’ after a series of losses and desertions.
