Obama Allies Say Employer Mandate Won’t Ever Be Enforced, Networks Reject ObamaCare Primetime Celebration

Fri Apr 4, 2014 AT 8:10 AM EDT

The delay to ObamaCare’s employer mandate won’t be temporary, according to several Obama allies. As reported by The Hill, former White House press secretary Robert Gibbs is telling business groups that it’s likely to be scrapped. And likely Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has promised she would look at reforming the mandate. Also, Buzzfeed reports this week’s press conference to announce 7 million sign-ups for ObamaCare was held mid-afternoon only after the big networks rejected President Obama’s request to interrupt primetime.
