President Obama announced late Wednesday that Americans whose health insurance policies were cancelled as a result of new ObamaCare regulations would be exempt from the law’s individual mandate, reports the Washington Post. To claim the exemption, an American with a cancelled merely has to assert that they believe the ObamaCare options are too expensive. The White House claims the change will be limited and affect fewer than 500,000 people, but Fox News reports that insurance companies are fuming over Obama’s continuing pattern of changing the rules.
