The Obama administration reached an agreement with Russia this weekend to disarm Syria of chemical weapons. John Kerry threatened Syria with bombing if it didn’t comply. The Jerusalem Post, however, reports Syria has already moved 20 trucks worth of chemical weapons materials into Iraq. Meanwhile, David Sanger reports in the New York Times on how past disarmament agreements have actually worked in Iraq and Libya. And President Obama told George Stephanopoulous that Iran should ignore his response to Syria because, unlike Syria, he’s willing to use force to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Nearly simultaneously, the Daily Caller reports Vladimir Putin will travel soon to Tehran to talk nuke strategy with the Iranians.
