Thu Mar 3, 2016 AT 10:25 AM EST

Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney plans to deliver Thursday morning a blistering speech at the University of Utah attacking Donald Trump, the GOP’s leading candidate, calling him “a phony, a fraud,” and saying “His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University,” reports The Washington Post. As for Trump, he responded to the news with a prebuttal, calling Romney a “stiff” who will not get elected, according to Politico.
