President Donald Trump called for GOP unity Monday on a stopgap spending bill to fund the government ahead of the Sept. 30 deadline, as he wants Democrats to shoulder the blame if there’s a shutdown. 

“In times like these, Republicans have to stick TOGETHER to fight back against the Radical Left Democrat demands, and vote ‘YES!’” Trump posted on social media.
