For weeks, unknown masked armed gunmen have led the ‘rebellion’ in eastern Ukraine, seizing government buildings and stoking unrest. With each rebel action, Russia denied involvement. On Sunday, Ukraine and the Obama administration released photographs showing that the gunmen are, in fact, Russian special forces who were also active in Crimea and Georgia.
