President Donald Trump is expected to sign an executive order Monday announcing his plan to withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal, according to The Hill and multiple reports.

Donald Trump’s candidacy and election violated (or was even diametrically opposite to) every traditional, time-honored rule and bit of wisdom held dear by conventional, otherwise savvy politicians. And yet, by being different, he outlasted 16 other GOP candidates and defeated Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, who had enormous experience and was considered a shoe-in for the presidency. On Friday, the country’s first non-statesman president takes the oath of office promising to break with the politics of the past and usher in a new style of government, reports The Washington Times.

Last October Donald Trump released his plans for the first 100 days of his presidency, entitled “Donald Trump’s contract with the American voter.” The plan includes a constitutional amendment imposing congressional term limits, withdrawing from the Trans-Pacific Partnership and canceling every executive action from President Obama he deems unconstitutional. While it may be logistically impossible to accomplish everything in the first three months of his term in office, there are some big issues he’s expected to tackle immediately, reports ABC.
