A melange of left-wing activists, members of the professional protest class, and a sampling of people who just dislike Donald Trump will be present at his Friday inauguration ceremony to cause protests and disruption. The number of protesters is expected to exceed the record set at the 1973 inauguration of President Richard Nixon, when more than 25,000 activists appeared and many were arrested, reports The Washington Times.

The Daily Caller reports that, brushing off a new Washington Post-ABC News poll revealing that only 40 percent of Americans approve of the handling of his transition to the presidency, Donald Trump tweeted Tuesday morning: “The same people who did the phony election polls, and were so wrong, are now doing approval rating polls,” Trump tweeted Tuesday morning. “They are rigged just like before.”
