In an unprecedented move, the Republican National Committee is weighing its options in the event the candidate Donald Trump drops out of the presidential race, ABC News’ Jonathan Karl reported Wednesday. The RNC fears the possible effects of Trump’s feud with the parents of the late Capt. Humayun Khan, among other things, reports Newsmax.

GOP vice presidential nominee Mike Pence tried Sunday attempted to cast oil upon the tumultuous waters created by Donald Trump and the Khan family. “Donald Trump and I believe that Captain Humayun Khan is an American hero and his family, like all Gold Star families, should be cherished by every American,” he said in a statement.”Captain Khan gave his life to defend our country in the global war on terror,” reports Politico.
