Dick Cheney Defends NSA, Says Snowden’s a “Traitor” and Possible Chinese Spy

Former Vice President Dick Cheney, integral to the government’s expansion of surveillance authority in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, vigorously defended the legality and necessity of that surveillance on “Fox News Sunday,” while slamming former NSA contractor Edward Snowden as a ‘traitor’ and, possibly, a Chinese spy. The Washington Post reports on Snowden’s life history.
