Capitol Hill Republicans are clamoring to get in on the action after President-elect Donald Trump put Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy in charge of his administration’s “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE).
“I think there probably will be some friction,” said Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., who is set to chair a subcommittee related to DOGE and its efforts. “Some appropriators really want to continue funding.”
She added that lawmakers had a “serious mandate” from voters which she hoped would give lawmakers “tremendous courage to do the right thing.” Read Full Story
