ISIS Threatens Pope Francis; Gen. Dempsey Open to Boots on the Ground

If airstrikes don’t work to stop ISIS, President Obama’s top military advisor will recommend ground troops, reports the New York Times. The statement of Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to the Senate Armed Services Committee contradicts Obama’s previous statements ruling out any possibility of ground troops.
